Why Does Our Feet Hurt?
According to the United States Public Health Service, during the people’s lifetime, 80 percent of them will have some kind of foot problem. Even though you did not have an accident or trauma, the foot pain is due to the fact that your arches will flatten out.
With every stride you take, each foot will carry one and a half times your body weight. It is estimated that a runner will have an average of 5,000 steps per hour. Genetics will play a big role on how easy your foot will break down.
Usually at a younger age like 18 or 25, your feet will have a curve shape. But when you grow older, your feet will start to flatten out and as a result, your shoe size will be bigger than before. If this will happen, it will cause a lot of problem like neck/back/hip/knee pain, external foot pain, bunions, heel spurs, Morton’s Neuroma and plantar fasciitis.
